Baja...A Story in Pictures

There goes Bob! down the path to Sea of Cortez...And I'm hangin close.

April 5, 2009

While in the Baja for 4+ months....November 08 to March 09, I didn't post too many blogs. However I did take lots of pictures. I'm going to post some pics in this blog with descriptions.

Bob, long time resident & family friend of Baja and Santa Cruz, allowed me to caravan with him on the 1,000 trek down the Baja. Pictured is my van (Phoebe McGee) and Bob's van (don't know if it has a name) at a very quiet RV park on the way down.

Here's what John Steinbeck said about The Sea of Cortez...."If it were lush and rich, one could understand the pull, but it is fierce and hostile and sullen. The stone mountains pile up to the sky and there is little fresh water. But we know we must go back if we live, and we don't know why." - Steinbeck, Log from the Sea of Cortez....

Bob and Buddy parked for the night...the Sea of Cortez.
Nothing more soothing than....daybreak on the Sea of Cortez!
