About Me

Pat Raines aka Gypsy Mama: El Pescadero, Baja California Sur, Mexico; It was December 2006 when I retired from a great job I'd had for 25 years in the dental field. My time, my turn to fulfill some of my passions.

My experiences have led me to believe we only get to keep what we give away, so ~~ I sold my house, gave away my furniture and I live the minimalist lifestyle in all ways; scrunching all I own into a 22 foot RV that I call Phoebe McGee. It is just me and Phoebe and my black pug, named TaZzi.

In 4 packed and incredible years. We have been in all but 3 states and traveled in 4 Provinces of Canada.

We spend winters in the Baja~Cabo, Pescadero, Todos Santos, and East Cape areas.

ps We now live permanently in the Baja in a Palapa Home.

My life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body ~~ but rather to skid in sideways totally worn out shouting 'holy crap! WHAT A RIDE!
